LEGO Juniors Batman and Superman vs. Lex Luthor Review (LEGO)

LEGO Juniors Batman and Superman vs. Lex Luthor
What It Is

Sometimes Batman and Superman fight each other, but other times these two good guys team up to fight bad guys, like Lex Luthor. And that's what kids can build and play out with the LEGO Juniors Batman & Superman vs. Lex Luthor construction set. This is model number 10724. It comes with 164 pieces for building Lex Luthor's robotic vehicle, a Batmobile, and the Batcave. Because this set is part of the LEGO Juniors line of construction sets, which are designed for kids who are in between playing with LEGO Duplo and regular LEGO sets, these three models are easy to build.

The Batcave has a Batdisk shooter with two Batdisks and a catapult to make Superman fly, as well as a lot of other fun details including a phone and a satellite dish. The Batmobile has rolling wheels and space for a minifigure. And the robotic vehicle has moving arms and wheels, plus a claw on one arm and a Kryptonite-powered Power Beam laser weapon in the other hand.

The set also includes three minifigures for playing out the action: Superman, Batman, and Lex Luthor. And there are accessories for the minifigures: a Batarang, a grappling gun, a Kryptonite pistol, and a walkie talkie.

Is It Fun?
No more Batman versus Superman. This construction set is all about teamwork among the two superheroes. Kids who are Batman and Superman fans will like building this action-packed set and then playing out all sorts of imaginative adventures. The set has a lot of nice details and moving parts to really bring the action to life. And because this is a LEGO Juniors set, which is for kids between the ages of 4 and 7, it offers an age-appropriate building experience thanks to its bigger pieces and easy-to-follow instructions. It's a nice halfway point for kids who are too old for Duplo but too young for the traditional LEGO sets.
