LEGO City Advent Calendar Review (LEGO)

LEGO City Advent Calendar
What It Is
The holidays are coming to LEGO City with the 2016 LEGO City Advent Calendar, model number 60133. The calendar includes 24 doors, each one numbered, and kids open one door each day starting on December 1 and going all the way to Christmas Eve on the December 24. Behind each door, kids will reveal a different small LEGO set for them to assemble. The calendar comes with 290 pieces, and some of the sets kids will find include a Christmas tree, a helicopter, and Santa in his sleigh. If you want to know what all of the sets are, you'll just have to open the doors yourself. We won't give it all away in this review! The Advent Calendar box doubles as a display scene, giving kids a place to display and play out holiday scenes with their assembled sets. Plus, kids can add the LEGO sets in this calendar to their LEGO City collection for more play.
Is It Fun?
This is a brand new LEGO City Advent Calendar, one that will be fun if you've been collecting the previous LEGO City Advent Calendar sets or if you do an Advent Calendar tradition every year and like building with LEGO. It's a fun surprise to open the calendar's doors and see what sets you're getting. This is a fun and buildable Christmas countdown that gives LEGO fans something to play with in their LEGO City collections even after the holiday season.
Who It’s For
The 2016 LEGO City Advent Calendar is for ages 5–12. It's going to appeal to families who do Advent Calendars every year as an easy way for kids to get a small gift on each day leading up to Christmas, especially if those kids like building with LEGO. But it will also be a fun way for any LEGO fan to collect more minifigures, vehicles, and accessories.
What To Be Aware Of

The sets in this Advent Calendar are small and easy to assemble. You'll find picture instructions on the back of each door.

LEGO Advent Calendars in LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Friends themes are also available and sold separately.
