HALO Bassinest Swivel Sleeper Review (HALO Innovations)

HALO Bassinest Swivel Sleeper
What It Is

Keep your baby close by for those middle-of-the-night feedings but still safe in his own sleep space with the HALO Bassinest Swivel Sleeper. You can adjust the Bassinest's base to fit beds 24-inches to 34-inches high, and the Bassinest itself swivels 360 degrees so that your little one can be right up next to your bed or even in your bed while still sleeping safely in his own separate space. The swivel feature also makes it easier for moms to get in and out of bed. And when you do get up in the middle of the night, having baby so close makes it easy to see and soothe your baby. Turn on the Bassinest's nightlight with two brightness levels for even more visibility. Nursing moms can use the nursing timer to remind them when it's time to switch sides or return baby to the Bassinest. And the retractable side wall makes removing and returning your baby to the Bassinest much easier. Two storage pockets on each side allow you to keep diapers, wipes, burp cloths, pacifiers, or whatever you need handy.

Along with the great features for mom and dad, there are also great features for baby. The mesh walls provide maximum breathability, while the mattress with fitted sheet provides a comfortable surface for baby to lay. The Bassinest also plays three lullabies and three nature and womb sounds, and has two levels of vibration to help soothe baby to sleep. The music, sounds, and vibration have auto shut-off after 30 minutes.

Why Is It Useful?
Parents interested in co-sleeping might like the Bassinest as a safer alternative because it keeps baby close but not in the bed. But it's also a great bassinet for just about any new parent. It doesn't take up a lot of space if you've got a small bedroom, it's easy to take baby out of the Bassinest for feedings and diaper changes, and it comes with a variety of soothing features for baby.
Who It’s For
The HALO Bassinest Swivel Sleeper is for use with babies up to 20 pounds or five months of age. Its maximum weight limit is 30 pounds. You should discontinue use when your baby shows signs of rolling over or pushing up.
