Classic Figure 8 Set Review (Brio)

Classic Figure 8 Set
What It Is
The Classic Figure 8 set from Brio is part of the Brio Wooden Train system. The set includes 14 pieces of curved track that allow kids to create the figure 8, as well as a crossover bridge that links the two circles. It comes with a Brio train engine and two train cars. Additional pieces include three wooden trees and a station house.

The assembly system is easy even for small kids to master, and it fits with all Brio train sets ever made, so no worries about compatibility with other sets you might have.

After assembly, kids can drive the train by pushing it. The smooth finish looks and feels great, and the pieces can be configured in other designs as well.

Is It Fun?
This is classic preschool play as kids create narrative-based play as they bring the world of the train set to life. Easy assembly allows kids to configure the set however their imaginations inspire them. This makes a nice addition to an existing Brio system or a good starter set, particularly for the younger players who may just be getting into this type of play.
Who It’s For
The set is recommended for kids ages 2 years and up. It will appeal most to kids who like train play.
What To Be Aware Of
Over the longer-term, this set will probably be most engaging as part of a larger system. The ability to integrate with other Brio sets allows kids to build out their sets as interest and budgets allow.

Many different sets and accessories are sold by Brio in a wide range of prices.

Parents will appreciate the classic design and the open-ended play this inspires.

High quality, wood construction will allow these sets to last for a long time.

Brio notes that these pieces work with any Brio set ever made.
