EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

They say that everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day, and Louie the Leprechaun: A St. Patrick's Day Tale explains the leprechaun lore. This comes with a hardcover book and a 12-inch leprechaun doll. The book, written by M. Lukach, tells the story of a very mischievous leprechaun named Louie. This young cobbler leprechaun moves pots of gold around and turns milk green for silliness. He also cuts the fourth leaf off of four-leaf clovers, which explains those hard-to-find shamrocks to your children. The book is colorfully illustrated by Johnny Cortez.

The plush leprechaun is a true green leprechaun, right down to his top hat and buckled brogues.

Is It Fun?

The colorful book shares a holiday story and includes a doll for imaginative play. Families can include this story in their homes during March to explain the leprechaun lore. It will also be a fun way for families to keep the mischief and fun going on St. Patrick's Day.

Who It’s For

Louie the Leprechaun: A St. Patrick's Day Tale will make a fun tradition for any family celebrating St. Patrick's Day, whether or not your family is Irish. It's recommended for ages 3 and up.
