OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Your child's imagination takes center stage with this portable theater. The Tabletop Puppet Theater from Melissa & Doug is a wood framed set with features that resemble an actual theater setting. There's a roll up velvet curtain, and a reversible backdrop of an enchanted kingdom or a sunrise. The theater is easy to assemble by simply sliding the pieces into place. Puppets are not included so those will have to be purchased separately.

Is It Fun?

With features that resemble an actual theater setting, this theater offers a fun way to spark imagination and creativity as kids put on their very own puppet show. The theater is a nice quality, and easy to assemble by simply sliding the pieces into place. It's also easy to take apart and can be stored flat, so it doesn't take up a ton of space when not in use.

Who It’s For

Recommended for ages 3 and up, the Tabletop Puppet Theater should be set up on a hard, flat surface for kids to perform their own puppet show. It's best for kids who have puppets as none are included.

What To Be Aware Of

The theater is easy to assemble by simply sliding the pieces into place. It's also easy to take apart and can be stored flat, so it doesn't take up a ton of space when it's not being used.

Puppets are not included so those will have to be purchased separately, or kids will need to make their own puppets, to actually use the theater. Once it's assembled, it's not meant to be moved around because it may come apart, so it should be set up where the kids want to put on their show.
