EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is
The Nerf Rival Zeus MXV-1200 is part of the new Nerf Rival line of blasters designed for older kids and adults. It comes with 12 foam balls that it can shoot 100 feet per second. Simply load the balls into the tube and load the tube into the blaster. Push the power-up button to start the motor, then take aim, and press the trigger to fire. It also features ambidextrous clip loading, a release button, a safety switch, and a fold-up sight. It's available in blue and red for the two different Nerf Rival teams, Team Blue and Team Red.
Is It Fun?
We think most adults are really going to like this Nerf blaster. This is one example of a blaster that really delivers what it says it will. We shot our foam balls about 75 feet without a problem, and with even more space for shooting, we think we'd definitely get more distance. This blaster also shot very accurately, and you don't always get that great distance and accurate shooting with Nerf blasters for younger kids.
Who It’s For
The Nerf Rival Zeus MXV-1200 Team Blue is for ages 14 and up. This is a little heavier than traditional Nerf blasters, which is one of the reasons why it's for older kids and adults.
What To Be Aware Of
This blaster requires six C batteries, which are not included.

We recommend purchasing and wearing the Nerf Rival mask when using the Nerf Rival blasters for safety reasons. The foam balls really don't hurt if you get hit, so feel free to fire away on friends as long as you take the proper safety precautions.

We also think you'll want to buy more foam balls to prolong the Nerf battle because we went through all 12 of ours very quickly.
