Bedtime for Sarah Sullivan Review (Dragonpencil)

Bedtime for Sarah Sullivan
What It Is

The Bedtime for Sarah Sullivan app is based on the children's book of the same name written by Kelly Paniagua with illustrations by Jessica Warrick. The book comes to life in this iOS and Android app as readers travel with Sarah through her very imaginative dreams. Each of this digital book's 32 pages has objects or characters that make sounds, move, or speak when kids touch the screen. Kids can also choose to have the book narrated or read it themselves. The app also includes three games based on Sarah's dream worlds. In Jungle Explorer, kids must find hidden animals and then answer whether or not those animals are nocturnal or diurnal. In Queen's Party, kids tilt their device to help Sarah fly through space to collect cookie ingredients and avoid obstacles. And Dream Drawings allows kids to make their own digital art and save it to their device's photo gallery. All the games can be accessed for the app's home page, but you can also access Jungle Explorer as you read the story.
