SpongeBob Moves In Review (Nickelodeon)

SpongeBob Moves In
What It Is

In the iOS and Android app SpongeBob Moves In, kids get to build their own Bikini Bottom. The app takes you to the very first day that SpongeBob arrives in Bikini Bottom. You must help him build his pineapple house, get a job at the Krusty Krab, and then turn Bikini Bottom into a thriving undersea city. There are lots of missions for kids to complete, such as building houses, making Krabby Patties, growing ingredients, and paying rent to Mr. Krabs. Some of the missions can be completed very quickly, while others (building a house) you'll have to wait for. But you can always use jelly jam, as long as you have some, to speed up the process. Additional jelly jam can be purchased through an in-app purchase. As you complete each mission, you'll earn rewards and unlock new characters, buildings, decorations, and areas, such as Jellyfish Fields.

Is It Fun?

This app will definitely appeal to SpongeBob SquarePants fans who will love building their own Bikini Bottom and helping SpongeBob complete the different missions. The app is easy to navigate, and it's not difficult to figure out what you need to do in order to complete each mission.

Who It’s For

SpongeBob Moves In is for ages 6 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

SpongeBob Moves In charges real money for in-app purchases. You may lock out the ability to purchase in-app content by adjusting your device's settings.

The app also includes links that direct users back to the app store to purchase additional apps.

The October 1, 2014 update of this app gave the game a spooky theme just in time for Halloween.
