Jewel Fight: Heroes of Legend Review (Bandai Namco Games)

Jewel Fight: Heroes of Legend
What It Is

Jewel Fight: Heroes of Legend from Bandai Namco Games is a match-three game, where you match at least three of the same item to clear them from the board. Each game is a match against an enemy and the objects that you match have the chance of powering up the enemy's attacks. When the attack meter is full, your enemy strikes at you and your health meter takes a hit. Lose all your health, and the game is over. You also have special power attacks with meters and certain objects will power your attacks. If you defeat the enemy first, you win.

Is It Fun?

This is an interesting twist on the traditional match-three style game and the attacks add an element of strategy to the format. For example, you may have an opportunity to match five in a row, which will reward you with coins, but if those five fill the enemies attack meter, you could be defeated.

Who It’s For

Jewel Fight is for casual game fans, ages 9 and up.
