OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

The Ram 3500 Dually from KidTrax Toys is an electric ride-on version of the real-life truck. With details just as realistic as its real-life counterpart for moms and dads, this kid version features built-in running and off-road LED lights, a dump body with opening tail gate, six sturdy tires with chrome rims, western-themed decals, and more.

Once assembled, the ride-on is powered by a rechargeable 12-volt battery, which requires an initial charge of 20-24 hours before use. (After that, it takes about 14-18 hours to charge). Once fully charged, hop in the driver's seat and grab a friend. There are two seats so friends and siblings can go along for a ride. To start, turn the built-in ignition key to turn the truck on and off. Once on, use the foot pedal to apply power to send you moving forward up to 2.5 MPH. Lift your foot to stop. To back up, press and hold the shift handle, which is located along the middle console, down to switch into reverse. The vehicle must come to a full stop before shifting gears, otherwise you will strip down the gears.

Additional interactive features of the truck include horn and engine revving sound effects, which are activated on the steering wheel, as well as a button to mute all sound effects, which is located on the dashboard.

Is It Fun?

This is a highly detailed, life-like ride-on for kids that is sure to make them feel just like Mom and Dad as they cruise around the block.

Who It’s For

The Ram 3500 Dually is for ages 3-7.

What To Be Aware Of

This powered ride-on seats up to two kids with a maximum weight limit of 65 pounds per child.

Always remember to follow the rules of the road: remember to look both ways when turning and use the ride-ons rear view mirrors.

Adults can remove the small screw located at the base of the gear shift to allow kids to accelerate at higher speeds.

Adult assembly is required. It took us about 45 minutes to put together.

The vehicle runs on a 12-volt rechargeable battery. Never let the battery on the vehicle fully drain because it can damage the battery.
