OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is a crossover adventure/puzzle game between Nintendo's Professor Layton puzzle series and Capcom's Ace Attorney series. The game combines characters and gameplay elements from both series.

The story opens up with a car being chased by witches and from there we head to London, home to Professor Layton and his apprentice, and Phoenix Wright's travel destination. The characters will be brought together as they are pulled into the mystery of the town, Labyrinthia, which seems to be the source of the witches.

The game play features the puzzle-solving adventure elements from the Professor Layton games and the trial-based, cross examinations from the Phoenix Wright games.

Is It Fun?

This is a clever crossover game that lets fans of the two series experience the different characters and game play styles together.

Who It’s For

The game is rated T for Teen because of the mild blood, violence, suggestive themes, and use of alcohol.
