Star Wars Commander Review (Lucas Arts)

Star Wars Commander
What It Is

Star Wars: Commander is a combat strategy game that takes place in the Star Wars universe and features familiar Star Wars faces, places, and vehicles. Players choose which side of the galactic conflict that they want to play on, the Empire or Rebels. Whichever side is selected, you will build and maintain a base where you manage and train troop forces, which will be sent out to battle. Those battles take place in chapter-based missions against an AI opponent or against other real players of the game.

Is It Fun?

Commander allows Star Wars fans to interact with the Star Wars universe in a unique and engaging way. If you choose to work with the rebels, you will be able to call on characters from the movies like Han Solo and Princess Leia to help in battle. If you choose the Empire, you get to use awesome vehicles like AT-ATs and Tie-Fighters.
