Barbie Entrepreneur - African-American Review (Mattel)

Barbie Entrepreneur - African-American
What It Is

Barbie Entrepreneur is Mattel's 2014 Career of the Year doll. Sporting a more sophisticated look than we often see Barbie in, this doll wears a dress in Barbie's signature pink that features the popular color blocking trend with a silver necklace and earrings and simple black heels. The doll comes with a clutch purse and briefcase, and like most business owners, Barbie wouldn't go anywhere without her smartphone and tablet. Barbie's hair is styled in a ponytail to give her a stylish yet professional look. Like most Barbies, this doll is 11.5-inches tall and cannot stand on its own.

Is It Fun?

With more than 150 jobs on her resume, Barbie has done just about everything. Now she's making a bold business move and adding entrepreneur to that long list. Mattel doesn't specify what exactly Barbie is an entrepreneur of, but that's all part of the imaginative play this doll offers. Kids can imagine any number of businesses for Barbie to run.

Who It’s For
