LEGO Star Wars AT-AT Review (LEGO)

LEGO Star Wars AT-AT
What It Is

The LEGO Star Wars: AT-AT is a large, 1,137-piece set that builds the AT-AT Walker that first appeared in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. The set also includes five minifigures-General Veers, an AT-AT Driver, a Snowtrooper Commander, and two Snowtroopers-each with a weapon or accessory. This is a very realistic-looking AT-AT that has articulated legs and cockpit section with two spring loaded missiles mounted underneath the cockpit. The cockpit can be opened to reveal seats for two figures and the body can be opened from both sides to access the interior. The interior features a trap-door hatch that is activated by pulling a lever.

Is It Fun?

The LEGO AT-AT has everything kids need to reenact the Hoth battle scene from the movie or come up with original adventures. The realistic look also makes this a great addition to a collector's display.

Who It’s For

This set is intended for kids ages 9 to 14, but we think LEGO Star Wars fans of all ages, including adults, will want this one for their collections.

What To Be Aware Of

The directions are excellent, and are separated into two books. It took our Master Builder two hours and 30 minutes to complete but most people will probably need three to three hours and 30 minutes to finish. This set also comes with a poster that has an action image of the AT-AT on one side and Star Wars minifigures on the other.
