Advance SE 65 Air+ Convertible Car Seat Review (Safety 1st)

Advance SE 65 Air+ Convertible Car Seat
What It Is

The Advance SE 65 Air+ Convertible Car Seat combines the protection of Safety 1st's Air Protect cushion system with a patented foam design that promises maximum side-body impact protection. The GCell HX design uses hexagonal padded foam to help absorb the most impact. The steel reinforced frame is stable, and the color-coded belts make installation pretty easy. This seat also accommodates an extended weight range-up to 40 pounds rear-facing and 65 pounds front-facing. This car seat also has four recline positions to make baby more comfortable. In the forward-facing mode, the 10-point headrest can be adjusted to keep up with your growing child. The soft and snug infant insert can be removed once your baby has aged out. A cup holder is also built into the carseat. It's available in three color schemes: Plumberry (light grey/teal/white), St. Germain (black/grey), and Twist of Citrus (blue/black/yellow/white).

Why Is It Useful?

The Advance SE 65 Air+ Convertible Car Seat has a wide seat that will give kids roomy space to relax while on the go. The curved contours of the seat will hug the child's body for added support. Plus, it's easy to install and has a great design.

Who It’s For

The Advance SE 65 Air+ Convertible Car Seat is for kids from 5-40 pounds rear-facing and 22-65 pounds forward-facing.

What To Be Aware Of

The padding on this car seat is a bit thin, so we wonder about the comfort of this seat, especially with older kids on long car rides. Additionally, this is Safety 1st's largest car seat, so when it's installed in your car rear-facing, the passenger seat ends up being pretty far forward.
