The Imaginext DC Super Friends R/C Transforming BatBot is a remote-controlled Batman tank with a light-up cockpit and more than 100 sound effects and phrases. The three-button remote control lets kids move the BatBot forward or turn backward and transform the BatBot into a lowered BatTank and back again. You can also transform the toy by placing the three-inch Batman figure in the BatBot's turn disk and turning it. Pressing the two buttons behind the disk or lifting and lowering the blaster in the BatBot's right arm will activate phrases and lights. Slide forward the two switches on the BatBot's arms for claw "chomping" action. You can also press the blue lever on the BatBot to fire four plastic discs. The remote can be stored on the back of the BatBot.
While we do wish there was a button on the remote for launching the discs, not having one certainly does not take away any of the fun kids will have with this toy. The remote is easy to use, and the BatBot travels at a speed that is not too slow but also not too fast, so preschoolers won't have trouble controlling it. The transformation feature is really cool, and the lights and sounds help bring the BatBot to life as kids embark on all sorts of imaginative play scenarios.
The Imaginext DC Super Friends R/C Transforming BatBot is for Batman fans ages 3-8.
The BatBot comes with six AA batteries. The remote requires two AAA batteries, but those are not included.
The BatBot works best on hard, flat surfaces.
