Where's the Duck? is a card game for two to four players that includes 37 cards featuring illustrations of animals and farmers. There are 18 pairs in the deck and one single card featuring a cute yellow duck. That same duck can be found hiding somewhere on the rest of the 36 cards, but only one card has the duck on its own. The object of the game is to be the player holding the lone duck card at the end of the game.
The game play is pretty simple, with all the cards being dealt out and players making as many pairs as they can. Once every player has displayed their pairs, they take turns selecting a card from the hand of the player to their left without looking. This continues until all pairs have been made and one player is left with the duck card, making them the winner.
This is a really simple game that feels kind of like Old Maid, except in this game you want to wind up with the duck. Kids will like the cute animal images and seeing where the duck is hiding on each of the cards, while practicing their matching skills along the way. This game is luck-based, so there's no real strategy involved, making it a great game for grandparents, parents, or older siblings to play with younger children.
Where's the Duck? is for ages 3 and up.
The game includes instructions in English and French.
