What It Is

Dragon Girl: The Secret Valley is a black-and-white graphic novel by Jeff Weigel about an 11-year-old girl named Alanna who stumbles upon a cave full of orphaned baby dragons. This discovery sets Alanna off on a journey to an untouched valley where she must save the dragons who live there from a menace that could destroy their home. The back of the book includes a special "More to Explore!" section that takes kids further into Alanna's world and gives them a look at early character sketches.
