Activision just confirmed three very exciting new games for their Fall lineup with Guitar Hero 5, DJ Hero and Band Hero all scheduled to be in stores in time for the holidays.
Guitar Hero 5 is exactly what it sounds like, the 5th Guitar Hero game. The other two titles are the ones that have people buzzing. DJ Hero will allow gamers to play DJ with a turntable controller (ala the guitar controller for GH). The game-play will center on creating mixes of popular songs from multiple genres including hip-hop, electronica and rock.
Band Hero sounds like Activision’s answer to Rock Band and combines guitar, bass, drums and a microphone for multiple players to play on. However, the game will focus more on family-friendly pop hits rather than guitar-anthems and rock tunes.
Activision will likely have all three of these games available for demo at E3 this summer so stay tuned for more info as it becomes available.
