Overall Editor's Rating

What It Is

The Roll & Learn Turtle is a plastic turtle that lights up, plays music, makes sounds, and says different phrases. The turtle's shell has a light-up music button in the middle surrounded by four colorful gears. Little ones can push the buttons and turn the gears to learn insect names, colors, and counting as well as hear different songs, melodies, and fun sounds. The control switch has two volume levels and an off option for quieter play. There's also a cord attached so your child can pull or push the turtle around and watch its head bob up and down.

Is It Fun?

The Roll & Learn Turtle is a really cute toy that helps develop fine motor skills, aids in language development, and encourages discovery and exploration. We think it's the type of toy that a baby would enjoy just exploring and then go back to again as a toddler when he or she started learning numbers and colors.

Who It’s For

The Roll & Learn Turtle is for ages 9 months–3 years.

What To Be Aware Of

This toy includes 2 AA batteries for the in-store try-me features, but VTech recommends replacing those before you play for best results.
