With the Regular Show Walkie Talkies, kid can communicate with each other on their adventures, just like Rigby and Mordecai. Turn them on and adjust the volume. Then, one at a time, press down on the talk button to transmit your message. The walkie talkies also have number buttons, but those buttons don't do anything when you press them. Even with the volume turned all the way up, you'll get the best sound quality from between five and 10 feet away. Once you hit 20 feet, static starts to kick in, and you can't really hear the other person.
If you're a fan of Regular Show, then you'll love chatting with your friends through these themed walkie talkies. The chunky design gives them a retro cell phone look, which most of today's kids probably won't recognize, but it adds to the silliness of the play. These are toys, so they don't have a super powerful range, but we thought 20 feet was still pretty good, particularly when you consider that the pair is under $20.
Regular Show Walkie Talkies are for Regular Show fans ages 6 and up.
Two 9V batteries are required but not included.
Even with the volume turned up all the way, you still need to hold your walkie talkie up to your ear in order to hear the other person. The highest volume setting is still pretty low.
As noted, these are designed and meant to be used as toys. If you are looking for functional walkie-talkies, you should consider other products.
