What It Is
R/C flying quads are a big trend right now, and the Sky Viper Quadcopter delivers hobby-grade performance, ease of operation, and a variety of stunts that will allow even a beginner to have a satisfying flying experience. One of the things critical to the success of flying is a large open space. (Something we don't have in our studio.) Before you fly, you'll need to charge the Quadcopter until the green light comes on. To fly, connect the cables on the underside, turn on the Quadcopter, turn on the remote, and you're ready to fly.
You'll want to take your time learning to fly this. We found it smooth and responsive thanks to the six-axis gyro and accelerometer stabilization. You're going to want to play with the trim, the directional controls, and the flight sensitivity settings from beginner to expert as you learn. We found this to be very durable, and as we learned to fly, including crashes into several walls and ceilings, the Quadcopter does include additional rotor blades as replacements.
Is It Fun?
Patience and practice will be rewarded as you get a well-flying versatile copter that combines high performance with easy operation. Take your time, follow the directions, and we're pretty sure you'll have an awesome experience with this flying quad.
Who It’s For
The Sky Viper Quadcopter is for ages 12 and up.
What To Be Aware Of
The Quadcopter remote is powered by four AAA batteries, which are not included. The Quadcopter itself has a rechargeable LiPo battery that must be plugged into a wall outlet to be charged. An AC adapter is included.
