What It Is
Kids can help Iron Man fly with the Iron Man Flying R/C Extreme Hero. This compressed foam flying toy is a 19-inch, fully detailed Iron Man that can fly more than 200 feet in the air. Its easy-to-use 2.4 GHz remote control puts fans in the pilot seat to perform dives, climbs, and smooth banking turns just like their favorite superhero. The toy features a patented steering mechanism and a power-to-weight ratio for precise and responsive turning. The toy charges through a connecting adapter and comes with a rechargeable lithium polymer battery, which takes about 45 minutes to charge for seven minutes of flight time.
To begin, pair the remote control to the flying Iron Man. Turn both of them on and when their green lights stop flashing, you'll know they're connected. When you're ready to fly, take it outside. We really advise being out in a wide open space. Then, give Iron Man a launch into the wind and control it using the controllers on the remote.
Is It Fun?
This is one of the most exciting flying R/C toys we've seen in a long, long time. We found this to be really easy to launch and maneuver on first flight out, and while we weren't really experts by the time we were done playing with it, we saw how very easily one could become very adept at flying this if you practiced over time. One of the other things we like about this is that even though the compressed foam is going to get dinged up a little bit, it doesn't matter because the toy just keeps flying really well.
Who It’s For
Iron Man Flying R/C Extreme Hero is for Iron Man fans ages 8 and up.
What To Be Aware Of
The toy comes with extra propellers, which you'll definitely need. We lost one in one of our test flights.
Six AA batteries are required for the remote control. These are not included.
It takes just a few minutes to put Iron Man together.
We recommend giving yourself plenty of time to learn how to fly this.
