What It Is

Big Boots are small preschool action figures that can be tossed, launched, or dropped and always land on their feet thanks to their big boots. Preschoolers can collect two of these figures in the Matchbox Big Boots Arctic Command Base playset, which brings the Big Boots fun to the frozen wilderness. Along with the two Big Boots figures (named Growzler and The Wrench), this playset also includes a Wooly Mammoth figure. And there are multiple ways to launch the Big Boots figures. Send a figure snowboarding down the super slide ramp. Fling a figure from the top of the tower. Send a figure down to bounce off the trampoline. And as a figure rides the Wooly Mammoth, press down on the animals' tail to launch the figure into the air. The playset also features a cage for capturing the Wooly Mammoth along with four themed accessories that the Big Boots figures can hold in their hands. Additional Big Boots figures are sold separately.

Is It Fun?

The Big Boots concept is really cute and will appeal to younger kids who will get a kick out of launching the characters and watching them land on their feet. Kids will love all the different ways to send the figures flying with this playset. This will inspire lots of open-ended action play.

Who It’s For

The Matchbox Big Boots Arctic Command Base is for ages 3 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

The included snowboard works with most Big Boots figures.

Some assembly is required. It took us seven minutes to put the playset together, and the instructions were very easy to follow.
