What It Is

Brown bear, brown bear, what do you see? I see a Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? Block Puzzle from Mudpuppy. This nine-block puzzle features illustrations from the popular Eric Carle book. Each of the six sides of the blocks makes a different puzzle, so there are six puzzles in one. The finished puzzles are images of animals and colors from the book: blue horse, green frog, yellow duck, purple cat, red bird, and brown bear. There is a colored border framing each of the illustrations, which will help children more easily complete the puzzles.

The blocks are made of cardboard and printed with non-toxic, soy-based inks. These two-inch blocks can also be used as building blocks.

Is It Fun?

Just like the book, the puzzle introduces little ones to animals and colors. The puzzle blocks are large and chunky to make it easy for small hands to grasp. Children will enjoy stacking, turning, and completing the six images with this puzzle block set.

Who It’s For

This puzzle is recommended for ages 1 and up. However, because one-year-olds put everything in their mouths, the blocks could get damaged. We suggest doing the puzzle with your child or waiting until he or she is a little older to play with it.

What To Be Aware Of

Mudpuppy also makes a The Very Hungry Caterpillar Deluxe Puzzle Wheel, based on the Eric Carle book, which is sold separately.
