What It Is
Transformers Bot Shots Battle Game is a game that uses miniature Transformer robots as the game pieces. Each Transformer has a chest shield that can be turned to display one of three battle powers—Blaster, Fist and Sword—where blaster beats fist, fist beats sword and sword beats blaster. It's basically a Rock, Paper Scissors game with Transformers.
Is It Fun?
The game starts with kids selecting their Transformers power on the chest shield then they face off in a head-to-head challenge and launch their figures in vehicle mode at each other. When the two figures connect, they instantly pop open into robot form and reveal their powers. The figure with the higher power wins.
There are also rules that cover the different scenarios. In the case of a tie, where both players choose the same power, each figure's power has a strength rating and the higher number wins. Also, if one vehicle transforms and the other doesn't, the transforming vehicle wins.
Who It’s For
Bot Shots are designed for kids ages 5 and up and will probably be a hit with kids around the ages of 5 through 8.
What To Be Aware Of
Bot Shots figures are sold separately or in packs like the Stunticons pack that comes with Motorbreath, Dead End, Dragstrip, Brake-Neck and Breakdown.
Each figure also comes with a code that can be entered in the Bot Shots Online Game, which is a Online version of the game.
