What It Is

Beast Hunters is the title of the third season of the animated series,Transformers Prime, which began airing in March of 2013 on The Hub. Beast Hunters Bumblebee is the Autobot Bumblebee figure from that season.

Is It Fun?

Beast Hunters Bumblebee is a great addition to the Transformers Prime collection and is a favorite character among most young Transformers fans. This figure is highly poseable and comes with multiple weapons, including a firing eagleshot bow. Bumblebee can hold the bow in his hand or attach it to his roof in vehicle mode and kids can launch the projectiles by pressing a button on the bow.

Who It’s For

Bumblebee is designed for Transformers fans ages 5 and up and is a level 2 out of 3 or intermediate difficulty figure to transform.

What To Be Aware Of

We thought transforming Bumblebee from robot to vehicle seemed a little easier than other level 2 Transformers. Most kids should have no problems transforming Bumblebee but if they do, the directions do a good job of walking you through the process for both robot to vehicle and vehicle to robot.

Removing Bumblebee from the package was more difficult than transforming him because of the ties holding the figure in place. It might be best for an adult to cut him out with scissors.
