What It Is
With the PBS Kids Test Tube Explorers science kit, kids can perform more than 20 activities using three baby soda bottles that look like test tubes. The activities challenge kids to put the scientific method to use as they explore color, the environment, the science of soda bottles, and more. Kids will discover water-fearing beads, create a bubbling volcano, and change the color of water. The kit comes with three baby soda bottles, a baby soda bottle rack, Styrofoam beads, Fizzers, and "young scientist" cards. Each activity provides a detailed explanation of the science behind it and ideas for extending the experiment. The "young scientist" cards use simple words and illustrations to help kids develop a complete understanding of the experiment and make sure they are able to ask questions and form conclusions.
Is It Fun?
