What It Is
The new Angry Birds Star Wars app comes to life off the app with a line of toys and games from Hasbro. The object of the Angry Birds Star Wars Millennium Falcon Bounce Game is to be the first player to reach 30,000 points. Once the Millennium Falcon is assembled, place the cardboard pigs on top of and around it. Take turns shooting the three bird balls (one at a time) at the Millennium Falcon. Each ball must bounce off the table at least once before hitting the Millennium Falcon. If you miss, you don't get to re-shoot that ball during your turn. If you knock over a pig without bouncing off the table, reset that pig before taking your next shot.
You score 1,000 points for each pig you knock down, 3,000 points if you land a bird ball in the center target, and 5,000 points if you land a bird ball in the cockpit.
After your turn, it's the next player's turn. The first player to score 30,000 points wins.
The game comes with a Millennium Falcon target (five pieces), a base (three pieces), a Luke Skywalker bird ball, a Chewbacca bird ball, a Han Solo bird ball, five cardboard pigs, five plastic stands, and label sheets. It is for one or more players.
Is It Fun?
The Angry Birds Star Wars Millennium Falcon Bounce Game brings the skill-and-action play of the Angry Birds Star Wars app to life. Unlike the app, however, there are no structures to knock down, only pigs. There is a learning curve, just like the app, and it will take some practice and patience to figure out the best way to bounce the bird balls at the targets. But learning how to do that is all part of the fun and play.
Who It’s For
The Millennium Falcon Bounce Game is for ages 8 and up.
