What It Is

The Thomas & Friends GoGlow Bedtime Trainer is a clock that is designed to help children establish bedtime and morning routines. The two-in-one nightlight and clock encourages children to stay in bed until morning using an image of Thomas the Tank Engine.

There are two knobs on the back of the clock. The first knob is for setting the time, and the second is for setting a wake-up time. Parents set the alarm and press the moon button on the front of the clock. This lights up the image of Thomas with a softly glowing moon and stars in the background of the image. The image will change from the nighttime scene to a daytime scene (no more moon, stars, or light-up function) when the wake-up time has been reached.

Is It Fun?

The purpose of the Thomas & Friends Bedtime Trainer is to give children a visual cue on whether it is time to sleep or wake up, thereby preventing children from getting out of bed too early and being cranky by the afternoon. Young children can't tell time yet, but they do understand the images of day and night and can look to their Thomas & Friends Bedtime Trainer to know what "time" it is.

Who It’s For

The Thomas & Friends GoGlow Bedtime Trainer is for ages 2 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Four AA batteries are required but not included.

Parents can only set a wake-up time for on the hour: 7:00, 8:00, 9:00. There is no a.m. or p.m. function.
