What It Is

Angry Birds Mash'ems are new collectible toys that kids can squeeze and mash. With series one, kids can collect six of their favorite Angry Birds characters: green pig, black bird, white bird, blue bird, yellow bird, and red bird. When kids squeeze the Mash'ems, the characters' eyes, mouths, wings, or wherever kids squeeze will bulge out. These squishy characters are available in single-packs, two-packs, three-packs, and launcher packs. The launcher packs come with one Angry Birds Mash'em character and one slingshot-style plastic launcher.

Is It Fun?

The Angry Birds Mash'ems have a cool feel, and it's so much fun to squeeze and mash them that you won't want to put them down. Kids will love collecting all the different characters and creating their own real-life version of the Angry Birds game.

Using the launcher, however, is not much fun. Even though it looks like a slingshot, the whole thing is plastic, so there is nothing to pull back on to launch the Mash'ems. You can place a Mash'ems on the launcher and try to throw it off the launcher (sort of like lacrosse) but the Mash'ems don't travel very far. The launcher makes a good accessory for Angry Birds collectors, but it's not a good toy.

Who It’s For

Angry Birds Mash'ems are for ages 4 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Because the Mash'ems characters are a little sticky, they easily get dirty. You can wipe them off with a damp towel.
