What It Is
Millions of mobile gamers around the world have shared digital sketches through Zynga's Draw Something game, and now artists of every level can show off their creativity face-to-face with Hasbro's Draw Something board game. Players will find out if their digital drawing skills hold up on paper as they take turns creating drawings for fellow players to guess. Players are not allowed to write or say any word clues as they draw.
Players take turns choosing a card. Each card has three items on it, ranging in difficulty from easy to hard, and players must choose to draw one of those items. Then the other players must guess what is being drawn. On the back of each card are scrambled letters. The other players are allowed to see the back of the card because the letters that spell the answer are in there somewhere. The more difficult the item you've chosen to draw, the more coins received if another player guesses correctly. The first player to collect 15 coins wins.
Draw Something includes four draw stations, 180 cards, four crayons (red, blue, green, and purple), four pads of paper, four coin tracker clips, and a game guide. The game is for three to four players.
Is It Fun?
This is a fun, social game that Draw Something fans will enjoy playing face-to-face with real friends. This game will be familiar to anyone who's ever played Pictionary.
Who It’s For
Draw Something is for ages 8 and up.
What To Be Aware Of
Without the use of the mobile device, however, this game is very much like Pictionary. If you already own Pictionary, that will work just as well.
