What It Is

Silence those cell phones during dinner time with Cell Lock-Up. This toy jail cell is just the right size to "imprison" up to six cell phones at a time, complete with bunk beds and cell bars. The cell phones can be "sentenced" to 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes with an easy-to-use push-button timer. A warden's voice announces the sentence as the door clangs shut. Once all cell phones have served their time, the warden issues the decree that "justice is served," and the cell phone owners are "free to rejoin digital society." If someone tries to spring a phone before the time is up, an alarm sounds and a guard announces, "Alert! Alert! Break-out in progress!"

Is It Fun?

Parents with kids who are constantly on their cell phones, texting and talking away during dinner or other family time moments, will appreciate the Cell Lock-Up. This is an item that can be used by any cell phone user in the family, even mom and dad. If you're looking for a way to get rid of distractions during quality family time, Cell Lock-Up can help.

Who It’s For

Cell Lock-Up is more of a gift item than a toy, so it does not have an age grade. However, it's going to appeal more to parents who want to control their kids' cell phone use than the kids themselves.

What To Be Aware Of

Two AAA batteries are required.

In the back of Cell Lock-Up there is a hole big enough to run wires through so that you can still charge your phones when they are locked up.
