What It Is
Winx Club is a new show on Nickelodeon that follows six best friends—Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna, and Aisha—as they navigate their way through Alfea College, the finest fairy school. The girls can transform into fairies and use their unique magical powers to fight villains. When not fighting the bad guys, the girls play in their own band, and fans of the show can pretend to be part of the band with the Winx Club Rock Star Guitar.
The Rock Star Guitar is based on the guitar that Stella plays in the band. Press the song button to select one of four songs. While the song is playing, kids can press different buttons for sound effects. The drums button will add drums to the song, the keyboard button adds keyboard, and the bass button adds a bass effect. Kids can also speed up or slow down the tempo by pressing the tempo buttons. There are four strings that kids can strum, although this doesn't activate any of the electronic music. Other sound effects come from the four light-up star buttons and the whammy bar. The Rock Star Guitar also has a volume control knob.
The Rock Star Guitar comes with a guitar pick necklace, stickers to place on the guitar, and a strap. Also included is a Magical Membership Card that directs kids to nick.com/winx, where kids can play games, take quizzes, watch Winx Club videos, and more. The membership card also has a QR code on the back that, when scanned with a smart phone or QR scanner, unlocks an exclusive message from Stella.
Is It Fun?
With the Winx Club Rock Star Guitar, kids can pretend to be just like Stella rocking out on their own kid-sized guitar. Kids will like decorating the guitar with the stickers and playing along with the Winx Club theme song. The sound effects buttons let kids add their own personal touches to the guitar's songs. The Rock Star Guitar will inspire lots of imaginative play for Winx Club fans.
