What It Is
With The Dark Knight Rises U-Command Batman Talking Action Figure, kids can control Batman's movements. The 13-inch figure comes with a wireless remote control that has dual joysticks and 12 buttons—spin, patrol, zig-zag, talk, special action, SFX, left, forward, right, reverse, go/stop, and program—so kids can program more than 1,000 action sequences. For better stability, the wheels on the back of the figure's feet pull out.
Is It Fun?
With The Dark Knight Rises U-Command Batman Talking Action Figure, kids can control Batman and send him off to save the day. Kids will like creating different action sequences and programming them into the remote so Batman can do it again.
Who It’s For
The Dark Knight Rises U-Command Batman Talking Action Figure is for Batman fans ages 4 and up. But because of the programmable option, we think this is more for older children ages 7 and up.
The Dark Knight Rises is going to be rated PG-13. That may mean that many kids who will love playing with this toy may not see the movie for awhile. But they'll certainly be part of all the cultural excitement it will create, and this and other Batman toys let them be part of it.
What To Be Aware Of
Seven AA batteries are required: Four for the figure and three for the remote. Only four AA batteries are included to power the figure's in-store try-me feature. Thinkway recommends replacing those batteries before you play for best results.
It takes about 10 minutes just to remove the toy from the package because it is secured tightly in the package. You'll need a good pair of scissors to cut things open.
Make sure you slide the switch on the back of the figure from "try-me" to "play" in order to access the full features.
U-Command Batman works best on flat, smooth surfaces.
