What It Is

This year Santa is leaving the reindeer and sleigh at home and flying around on Christmas Day in the Mini-Small Helicopter. Well, we kind of made that up, but this is a battery-powered R/C helicopter featuring Santa Claus. With the remote control, kids can steer the helicopter up, down, left, and right. There are also special "trim" buttons to help steer the helicopter. If the helicopter is going clockwise, press "left" to straighten it out. If it's flying counterclockwise, press "right." The helicopter comes with a spare tail propeller and an instruction manual.

Is It Fun?

Kids are familiar with mini helicopters, but the Santa theme makes this one a fun (and slightly silly) addition to holiday play. The Mini-Small Helicopter is incredibly lightweight and fairly easy to control once you get the hang of it. There is a bit of a learning curve, especially when it comes to using the "trim" buttons. It's a fun way for kids (and adults) who like R/C toys to get into the holiday spirit.

Who It’s For

The Mini-Small Helicopter is for ages 6 and up. This is definitely going to appeal to adults and 20-somethings as well as a fun, conversation piece around the holidays.

What To Be Aware Of

The remote control requires six AA batteries, which are not included. You'll need a Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment.

The helicopter requires a 3.7V Li-Poly Rechargeable Battery Pack, which is included. There is a charging wire within the remote control that connects to the helicopter for re-charging. It takes about 15-20 minutes to charge for a flight time of 10 minutes.

The Mini-Small Helicopter is for indoor use only.
