What It Is

What It Is

Moms know TRIO as a line of building toys for ages 3—8. Now even younger kids can have an age-appropriate and engaging building experience with TRIO Junior My 1st Blocks. Designed for children as young as 12 months, it offers a foundation for creative building fun and encourages a wide variety of early development skills, such as hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

The building pieces in the TRIO Junior My 1st Blocks set are sized and shaped just right for smaller hands. There are a variety of unique play pieces, such as a character topper and a rolling car chassis, along with traditional blocks. All the pieces are compatible with the full line of TRIO bricks, sticks, and panels, so the TRIO Junior toys "grow" with your child. The My 1st Blocks set includes 51 multi-colored pieces in a clear vinyl storage bag. The set is available in either primary colors or pastel colors.

Why It’s Fun

The inclusion of more than just blocks (the rolling car, for example) in the My 1st Blocks set allows kids to build and play. The pieces are easy for young children to put together—or knock down so they can build something else. Young children will like playing and building with the age-appropriate TRIO Junior blocks and then adding them to TRIO sets as they get older.

Who It’s For

TRIO Junior My 1st Blocks is for ages 12 months and up.

What to Be Aware of

TRIO blocks for older children should not be mixed in with this set. Children should begin playing with the original TRIO blocks at age 3.
