What It Is

What It Is

The Giant Inflatable Nocturnal Creatures set comes with four different inflatable creatures—a bat, a spider, a moth, and a firefly. The set also comes with a booklet that gives facts about each creature. For instance, there are more than 1,100 types of bats, between 150,000 and 250,000 types of moths, and 40,000 kinds of spiders. Each of these inflatables has a hook and string so they can be hung up in a bedroom or even a classroom. And for added fun, the firefly inflatable lights up. Other Giant Inflatable sets include Insects and Frog Life Cycle.

Why It’s Fun

Learning Resources intends that their Giant Inflatable Nocturnal Creatures will help kids learn about science. And they might, but mostly because these are totally cool, and that will inspire kids to learn some of the facts included about the bugs. Kids will enjoy using these as playthings or as hanging room decorations.

Many kids are scared of bugs, while at the same time being fascinated by them. By creating them in such huge sizes, kids can explore them in detail without being nervous.

Who It’s For

Giant Inflatable Nocturnal Creatures are for ages 5 and up.

What to Be Aware of

The firefly requires three button-cell batteries, which are included.

Do not use an air pump to inflate the creatures. You must inflate them by blowing into the valve.

Learning Resources also reminds you that these are not floatation devices.
