What It Is

Alien Conquest is the newest line of themed building sets from LEGO. As the story goes, aliens have invaded the earth, and it's up to earthlings to defend themselves. The UFO Abduction set contains 211 pieces that kids use to build the colorful and play-filled UFO. In the storyline, the UFO leaves the alien mothership on a mission to kidnap humans. The UFO has a working light that targets the humans, and then the UFO "beams" them up and carries them away using the UFO's abduction function. (There's a hole in the bottom of the UFO, so when you place the UFO over a minifigure, the figure will go up into the hole and is held in place by some innovative flexible LEGO pieces.) The set includes three minifigures: an alien defense unit soldier with launchable missile, a farmer with a pitchfork, and an alien trooper.
