What It Is

What It Is

One of the newest building sets in LEGO's Ninjago line is the Fire Temple. This 1,174-piece set allows kids to build the temple, which opens up so kids can play inside, and the Spinjitzu weapon, the Fire Dragon. The Fire Dragon is full posable, and kids can pretend to spit fireballs from the dragon's mouth. The Fire Temple comes with seven minifigures—Sensei Wu, Zane, Nya, Kai, Lord Garmadon, Samukai, and Kruncha—and assorted weapons.

Why It’s Fun

This is one of the most elaborate and beautiful sets in LEGO's Ninjago line. We were really impressed with the amount of play, great design, and all the Japanese-inspired elements. This will inspire a lot of imaginative, narrative-based play as kids pretend they are helping Sensei Wu, Zane, and Nya stop Lord Garmadon and his evil skeleton army.

Who It’s For

The Fire Temple set is for ages 8—14.

What to Be Aware of

This is a complex build that takes several hours to complete. LEGO ranks it as being an average level of difficulty, so it should be engaging and satisfying to build for almost all LEGO fans. The directions are clear and easy to follow. There are three building assembly booklets that walk builders through the entire process.
