What It Is

What It Is

Hasbro has redesigned its Nerf Dart Tag collection of blasters and accessories in anticipation of the 2011 Nerf Dart Tag World Championship. (Go to for details.) Kids can gear up for the competition with the Dart Tag Quick 16. This blaster holds 16 darts, which are easy to load. The Quick 16 requires no batteries, so once kids load it up, they just pull the trigger back and fire away. The darts are made of soft foam and have Velcro tips. (The Velcro allows the darts to stick to the special Dart Tag jerseys, which are sold separately. You don't have to have the jerseys to use the blaster.)

Why It’s Fun

This is a classic boys' play pattern, and foam dart blasters are a great way for kids to engage in this kind of play. Boys will like how easy it is to load and fire.

Who It’s For

The Quick 16 is for boys ages 8 and up.

What to Be Aware of

Do not aim at eyes or faces. That said, when using this blaster, make sure to wear some form of protective eyewear, just in case. Hasbro sells Dart Tag Vision Gear Eyewear, but a pair of sunglasses or other protective eyewear will also work.
