Weekend Box Office: Deja-Vu for Dawn, Sky, Lincoln & More

The Top 6 movies stayed in the exact same spots that they held last weekend with two new movies, Killing Them Softly and The Collection, floundering onto the list in 7th and 10th.

This is now the 3rd weekend in a row that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, Skyfall and Lincoln have held onto the Top 3 spots. All three movies continue to do well with Breaking Dawn 2 approaching the franchise’s top earner, New Moon. Skyfall has been the top grossing Bond film for more than a week and has new earned $246 million in the U.S. alone. Lincoln‘s total take of nearly $84 million has now out-grossed both of the Spielberg directed movies of 2011 – The Adventures of Tintin ($77.6 million) and War Horse ($79.9 million).

Rise Of The Guardians, which my sister and four-year-old nephew loved, is still having a hard time pulling in audiences in it’s fourth weekend of release.

Here is the Top 10 list for the weekend of November 30 – December 2, 2012:

1. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 ($17,410,000)
2. Skyfall Sony ($13,509,000)
3. Lincoln ($13,509,000)
