Who are some of the hardest workers in Hollywood? The Muppets of course! When they aren’t interviewing celebrities on the red carpet or shooting new movies, they are overseeing albums. The latest album from the world’s fluffiest producers (sorry P Diddy) is Muppets: The Green Album, a tribute album featuring 12 new versions of classic Muppets songs performed by some of today’s most interesting and creative artists.
The track list is a bonafied Muppets’ greatest hits list that includes Movin’ Right Along, Rainbow Connection, It’s Not Easy Being Green, Mahna Mahna and the Muppet Show Theme Song among others. The artists list is like a whose who of hip music with OK Go, The Fray, My Morning Jacket, Weezer and Alkaline Trio to name a few.
