Earlier this week, Lucasfilm announced that Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the Cartoon Network series, is over and that the fifth season that just aired it’s final episode was the series’ finale.
The announcement was made by The Clone Wars’ supervising director, Dave Filoni, and it came as a shock to most fans of the series (myself included) because this was the first mention that the show was coming to an end. In the same announcement, Filoni also stated that the best of the Clone Wars is yet to come. As of now, the series will not be returning to Cartoon Network and no details have been given for when or where the next episodes will be available.
