Box Office, Expendables No Match for Turtles & Guardians

Despite starring some of the biggest names in Hollywood, The Expendables 3  could not budge last week’s top two movies – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Guardians of the Galaxy – from their #1 and #2 positions (respectively). Expendables didn’t even take the #3 spot. That went to the new R-rated comedy,  Let’s Be Cops, which opened to $17.7 million.

Both Turtles and Guardians have announced that sequels are coming. Look for Turtles 2 in 2016 and Guardians 2 in 2017.

TTPM (that’s us) has been reviewing the toys for the Top Two movies. You can see the reviews for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by clicking here, and Guardians of the Galaxy here.
