The LEGO Duplo Read & Build Kits start with a book and then let kids build with Duplo bricks as they listen to Mom or Dad read the story aloud. Each kit comes with 12–17 colorful and chunky LEGO Duplo bricks and a book. The storybooks provide step-by-step instructions on how to make the model. There are several Read & Build Kits available: Grow Caterpillar Grow, Busy Farm, and Let's Go! Vroom! Each is sold separately.
The Rubik's Rock & Roll Maze takes the popular Rubik's Cube and turns it into an engaging preschool toy. With music, sound effects, and spinning action, the Rubik's Rock & Roll Maze provides a challenging game for kids. There are three ways to play. First is Free Play mode. Press the start button and tilt the toy to help the ball navigate through the maze and into any of the four targets. The second mode is Challenge. Kids must tilt the toy to navigate the ball through the maze and get it to land on as many of the blinking lights as they can within a 15- or 30-second time limit. The third mode is Maze Master mode. By tilting the toy, get the ball into any target without repeating it in under 30 seconds. Rubik's Rock & Roll Maze can be set up on its legs for beginner players or you can tuck the legs in for more of a challenge.
Puzzle Match Game combines puzzles with memory games. Rather than searching for two identical images, kids must find two halves of a whole image, such as the bottom and top of a seahorse. Lay all 24 pieces face-down. Players take turns turning over two pieces, trying to complete pictures. When all pictures have been found, the player with the most complete pictures wins the game. Once the 24 pieces have formed the 12 individual pictures, the 12 pictures can be assembled to complete a full-sized puzzle. The game comes with 24 puzzle pieces and instructions. It is for one or more players.
from MEGA Bloks
MEGA Bloks First Builders Big Building Bag is a set of introductory building blocks for beginning builders. The set features 80 different chunky, colorful blocks for simple builds. Sets are available in two colors: a primary classic color scheme and a pastel color scheme, which the company intends to appeal to girls.
The Sit-to-Race Smart Wheels is a ride-on toy that grows with children and offers many ways to play. For babies 6–12 months, the dashboard activity panel can be removed from the ride-on and used for floor play. The panel is where children select what play mode they want: learning mode or discovery mode. Press the horn button to hear horn sounds and see lights flash. Twist the knob to hear engine sounds and see lights. Press the four number buttons to hear phrases about numbers, objects, and places. The lights will flash with the sounds.
For ages 12–24 months, the ride-on can be a rocker. Attach the dashboard panel, and kids can play with the dashboard panel as they rock. Rocking also activates sounds, music, and lights.
For ages 24–36 months, parents can convert it from rocker to ride-on by flipping up the bottom of the rocker to turn it into a push handle for parents. Whenever the ride-on moves, kids will hear music and sounds and see lights flash. They can still play with the dashboard panel as they ride.
The LEGO Star Wars The Malevolence is a 1,094-piece building set that replicates the flagship of General Grievous. The heavy cruiser became a dire threat to the Republic early in The Clone Wars. This model features the spacecraft's signature twin ion cannons that really fire. The top opens to reveal a play area, and kids can pretend to make it fly through the galaxy by lifting up on the handle. The set comes with six minifigures: Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala, General Grievous, Count Dooku, the Battle Droid Commander, and a Battle Droid. Weapons include two medium blasters, a blaster pistol, and six lightsabers. Accessories include a wrench and hammer.
Kids and adult collectors can help repel the Sith Empire with the Star Wars The Old Republic Republic Striker-class Starfighter building set. With attack and cruise mode wing configurations, flick missiles, rear lightsaber storage, and T7-O1 droid, this starfighter has everything needed to take on the Sith Empire. The set includes 376 pieces and three all-new minifigures are included: Satele Shan (a female Jedi master), a Republic Trooper, and T7-O1 Astromech Droid. Accessories include a double-bladed lightsaber and heavy blaster. The starfighter's cockpit opens and closes, and it comes with four flick missiles.
LEGO's Star Wars Jabba's Palace is a dramatic building set with 717 pieces. Kids and collectors can build a stunning replica of the building that first appeared in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. In addition to the palace structure, the set comes with nine minifigures, including seven new ones being introduced with this set: Han Solo, Jabba, Salacious Crumb, Bib Fortuna, Gamorrean Guard, Oola, Princess Leia in Boushh outfit, Chewbacca, and B'omarr Monk. The 2.5-inch Jabba figure features a poseable head, body, and arms. Accessories include a "carbonite" mold that the Han Solo figure fits into, handcuffs, and Jabba's water pipe. The palace itself features a sliding throne with trap door, hidden treasure, an entrance gate with moveable guns, a flick missile on the detachable roof, and a detachable watchtower.
Kids can patrol for Separatist forces along with Jedi Master Saesee Tiin in the Jedi Starfighter, part of the LEGO Star Wars line. This 244-piece set includes three minifigures: Jedi Master Saesee Tiin, Jedi Master Evan Piell, and R3-D5 Astromech Droid. Saesee Tiin's green starfighter is equipped with four missiles and a cockpit section that detaches to become the Jedi Master's own escape pod.
The Starfighter also features a retractable landing gear and a Lightsaber holder. Two lightsabers are included for each Jedi Master.
Kids can attack the Republic with the Sith Fury-class Interceptor, part of the LEGO Star Wars line. Load the hold of the Sith Fury-class Interceptor and transport Sith Troopers into battle. This 748-piece set features all-new minifigures and elements. The three minifigures included are Darth Malgus and two Sith Troopers. The Interceptor features an opening cockpit with folding control panel, folding wings, four flick missiles, and an opening real hull with space for two minifigures, two medium blasters, and Darth Malgus' lightsaber.
