  3. Angry Birds Star Wars Jenga Hoth Battle Game
    •  8+

The new Angry Birds Star Wars app comes to life with a line of toys and games from Hasbro. Players gear up to bombard Imperial hogs in the frozen terrain of Hoth with the Jenga Hoth Battle Game. The object of this game, much like in the app game, is to launch birds and knock down pigs to score the most points. Players take turns being the builder and the launcher. If you're the builder, roll the build die and create the structure shown. If you're the launcher, roll the launch die to determine how many tries you get to knock down the pigs. The launcher scores 1,000 points for each pig knocked completely off the structure. He also scores 1,000 points for any bird(s) left unlaunched (or any tries not taken) after knocking off the pigs. The launcher and the builder switch places and play again. This ends the first round. The player with the highest score after three rounds wins the game.

The game comes with a Luke Skywalker bird, two Snowtrooper pigs, a snowspeeder launcher, 12 translucent Jenga blocks, two dice, and a label sheet for the dice. The game is for 1–2 players.

  4. Angry Birds Star Wars Jenga Death Star Battle Game
    •  8+

The new Angry Birds Star Wars app comes to life with a new line of toys and games from Hasbro. Players take on Darth Vader and his porky pals in the Jenga Death Star Game. Take turns trying to topple the Empire by loading the X-Wing Fighter launcher with Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Chewbacca birds. The object of this game, much like the app, is to launch the birds to knock down pigs and score the most points. Follow the instructions to assemble the Death Star using the numbered set-up card and Jenga blocks. The first player rolls the die to determine how many shots he can take and which birds to use. Once the first player has taken all of his shots, it's the next player's turn. Keep alternating turns until the Death Star is destroyed. Add up your score after each turn. Each of the four Stormtrooper pigs is worth 1,000 points. Darth Vader pig is worth 3,000 points. Complete destruction of the Death Star is worth 5,000 points. And any unlaunched birds after the Death Star is destroyed are worth 1,000 points each. The player with the most points after the Death Star is destroyed wins.

The Jenga Death Star Game comes with a Death Star frame, Luke Skywalker bird, Han Solo bird, exclusive Chewbacca bird, Darth Vader pig, four Stormtrooper pigs, an X-Wing Fighter launcher, 31 Jenga blocks, a lock block, a base, a die, and a label sheet for the die. The game is for one to two players.

  18. The Elf on the Shelf Products

The Elf on the Shelf Products

    from CCA and B Publishing

    •  3+

One of the newest Christmas traditions that has really taken off over the past few years has been The Elf on the Shelf. As the story surrounding this toy goes, a little elf is sent to your home from Santa during the Christmas season to keep an eye on your child and see if he or she has been naughty or nice. Every evening while your child sleeps, the elf flies off to the North Pole to report back to Santa. When your child wakes up in the morning, the elf will have returned from the North Pole and will be sitting in a new (sometimes humorous) place in your home. To preserve the elf's magic, your child is not allowed to touch it, however, kids can speak to the elf and tell it what's on their Christmas list. On Christmas Eve, the elf flies back to the North Pole until the next holiday season.

The Elf on the Shelf is available in boy or girl with light skin or dark skin, black hair or brown hair, and brown eyes or blue eyes. The main The Elf on the Shelf product includes an elf and a storybook. It retails for $29.95.

Additional Elf on the Shelf products include An Elf's Story DVD ($9.95) and Blu-ray ($14.95), An Elf's Story Book with Sound($14.99), An Elf's Story Coloring Book ($3.99), a set of An Elf's Story figurines ($12.99), and a stuffed version of the elf ($12.95).

  19. Elf Magic

    Elf Magic

    from Elf Magic

    •  3+

Elf Magic is a family Christmas tradition centered on a 10-inch stuffed elf who "visits" children during the holiday season. The visiting elf comes to life at night to embark on all kinds of adventures, or "Elfcapades", the remnants of which surprise children when they awake the next morning.

The tradition begins with a child writing a letter to Santa Claus requesting an Elf Magic friend to visit. Before going to bed, the child will place the elf's favorite snack of crackers and ice water on the kitchen counter to lure the elf. (Why crackers and water? It reminds the elves of their snowy home. The crackers sound like crunching snow and the water is melted North Pole snowflakes.) The stuffed elf character "magically" appears at the child's home between Thanksgiving and the days leading up to Christmas. An Elf Magic Elf comes with a poem and tips from Santa, explaining the tradition. The elf also brings North Pole "snowflakes" that the child sprinkles on the elf each night to bring him or her to life. Then, when everyone is asleep, the elf goes on Elfcapades, such as cookie baking, gift wrapping, or hiding in freezers. On Christmas Eve, the elf returns to the North Pole to help Santa deliver toys, and kids look forward to the next year when their elf will return.

There are 10 elf styles to choose from so that you can pick the gender, hair color, and skin tone of your elf. Each elf comes dressed in a red, white, and green outfit with a snowflake embroidered over its heart.
