Smash Hit from Mediocre is a mobile game where you tap the screen of your device to hurl shiny balls at glass-like structures and obstacles in your path. The goal of the game is to travel as far as you can through a surreal environment with a Trance soundtrack.
Smash Hit looks and plays very differently than a lot of the more popular mobile games out there right now. Most games are bright and cute, but Smash Hit has a look and sound that is sleek, stylish, and moody. It's like playing through a Daft Punk track.
You start off with 25 balls and receive more when you shatter certain items. Every time you make a mistake, like crashing through an obstacle, you will lose balls. There are more than 50 rooms separated by portals. Each room has a unique look and different obstacles to hit with the balls.
The game-play is continuous and doesn't stop until you run out of balls. The game keeps track of your best distance so trying to beat your own best is what makes this so much fun.
Smash Hit is rated ages 4 and up, but we think this is going to be a big hit with teens and adults.
There are also Power Ups like multiballs, and an infinity launcher that continually launches balls for a short amount of time.
Smash Hit is available now for iOS and Android devices. Once you have downloaded the game, you do not have to be connected to the Internet to play.
