What It Is

Kids can keep track of their speed as they ride their bikes with the Fuze Mega FX Speedometer. This speedometer attaches to your bike's handlebars with a sensor and spoke magnet attached to your bike's front wheel. The sensor detects the spinning of the wheel and records your speed on the speedometer screen. Press the small red button on the speedometer to hear 11 different sound effects as you ride. The sounds will change depending on how fast you're riding. Sounds include semi truck, space ship, race car, motorcycle, helicopter, pterodactyl, hot rod, horse, cow, jet, or dog. As you ride, press the large red button to add secondary sounds, such as lasers, horns, and more.

Is It Fun?

Kids will really enjoy keeping track of their speed as they ride. The sound effects add a level of roleplay to the bike riding as kids pretend they are a race car or dinosaur while they ride. Plus, the sounds just make riding a bike and being active more fun.

Who It’s For

The Fuze Mega FX Speedometer is for ages 5 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Three AAA batteries are included for in-store try-me features. It's recommended that you replace them before you play for best results.

Adult assembly is required. You will need a Phillips screwdriver and scissors that can cut through zip ties. It took us between 15 and 20 minutes to assemble this onto the bike. We had some trouble figuring out the proper spacing between the spoke magnet and the sensor, so expect to go through some trial and error before it actually starts working.

When kids ride, make sure they're wearing a helmet.

If you want to remove the speedometer from the bike, you'll need to cut off the zip ties.

The speedometer is not waterproof.
